School Books
- Text Books, copy books and basic art supplies are provided free or charge.
- However, the books must be returned in good order.
- Some workbooks are to be purchased.
- Parents will be charged for books lost or damaged.
Classes offered
- Preparatory 1 and 2 for ages 4+ and 5+. Primary 1 to 5 for ages 6+ to 11+, leading to Secondary Examination.
- Examination S.E.A. School Term: Early September to Mid December.
School Terms
- The school year is divided into three terms.
- Term 1 – September to December.
- Term 2 – January to immediately before Easter.
- Term 3 – after Easter to the first week of July.
School Hours
- 7.45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Prep 1 – Prep 2
- 7.45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Primary 1 – Primary 5
- There are two breaks: 10:00 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. and 11:40a.m. to 12.00 p.m. Children generally require light nourishing lunch/snacks.
- Gates are open from 6:15a.m. Teacher supervision begins at 7:00 a.m.
- Teacher supervision ends at 2:00 p.m.
- The School cannot accept responsibility for children left at school outside of these periods of supervision.
- The last day of school is usually half day. (official notice will be forwarded via email)
School Examinations
- Informal basic assessments are held early in the school year. These assessments are to appraise the teacher of the child’s knowledge of the previous year’s work.
- Half yearly exams are held in January/ February.
- End of Year exams are held in June.

develop each child’s particular learning style. Students who require support leave their classes during the school day to take part in multi-sensory learning in the areas of Language and Mathematics. Various programmes are used according to the specific needs of each student.
These include the Orton Gillingham method, LiPS, Visualizing and Verbalizing, Seeing Stars and On Cloud Nine.
In addition, there are many interactive resources and manipulatives for practice and enhancement.
Through all of these, students learn skills and strategies, which can be applied in the classroom.

for success, where the children work hard towards improvement and enjoy a sense of accomplishment
